hello, I've heard about women's virginity and "hymen" , so I looked for it and I collected some informations about it. But the problem is that I read that some women are born without hymen or maybe it's naturally tear or even, it won't bleed . I'm very young , so I'm ashamed to ask my mother to go to a gynaecologist . I don't know if I was born without or it was torn naturally , but I'm afraid that , in my wedding night I won't bleed and everybody will think that I had sexual intercourse before marriage (we know it's a crime in Islamic society and a very big sin in Islam). I read a lot of news saying that some women have been divorced or even killed for that. What should I do TO PROVE then ? PS: I'm very young, but knowledge has no age , especially when it comes to religion. |

Sister you can ask your mother but as you said you are younger why are you so keen in this regard. if you are virgin then it's ok Hymen is not sign of virginty itself |

Sister ask your mother , explain to her your concern. You have every right to understand your body. If your mother feels is necessary to go see a doctor she will take you . Hymen or not a doctor can tell the difference of one who has not done this vs one who has. |

Actually This is not an Islamic Question rather Medical. There are many possibilities, the one I know that the girls who started taking classes for Taekwondo, Karate, Gymnastic and Yoga, their hymen can rupture due to intense stretches. So their are many possibilities for rupturing hymen without any sexual intercourse. Ruptured hymen is not in any way a proof of your bad character sister :-) . |
