How does Islam deal with homosexuals?

1	I have read that one who is found to be homosexual is put to death, is this sharia law? I believe that is how it was dealt with in the Torah and in the Biblical new testiment Paul calls it a perversion, he says that homosexuals and those who approve of them deserve death and that they will recieve the penalty in there bodies.

1	Kill them.. first torture them till they cant do any more.. and then finish it off with a beheading.. simple as that..

Instead of killing a homosexual, why not try to heal them. If islam is more about judgment and bloodshed instead of mercy and healing than how do you expect to rid the world of ungodliness?

when your wrong islam is not about judgment and Bloodshed.Islam is all about peace and understanding the reason being here on earth and believeing that there is No god but Allah.christian are the one who judge people by there religion and killing people for not being in there religion look to the old day history you ll find alot of information.If you do not known the Religion of islam dont speak stupid stuff.

i heard that there are people who may be simply born being attracted to men but this is a test to humans and they need to stop te temptation of the devil and try not to look at them but over time if somone trains themselves to not look at men that way they can heal it but many people simply fall into the temptation but as long as you dont do anything or look at men that way even though you feel that way you wont get bad deeds the prophet once said that our ummah dosent get bad deeds if they think somthing bad but dont act upon it

Salam,

You have too different type of these people and the first group are those men wh are born to have the characteristics of a woman like they will talk, walk and act the same way women are but they are fully men's who can have a wife and a children, these type of men Islam is not against them and Islam recognizes them to be born this way and they are not punished infact they are supported by Islam as they have a problem and it is not their fault they were born this way and they did not had any choice.

The second group are those men who were born normal and did not had the characteristics of a woman but later on in their life decided to change their characteristics in to that of a woman and choose to be with the same sex then these type of men Islam does not support infact their punishment in Islam is death, and also the men who was born with the characteristics of a woman but knows he is a man and can have a children but he decides to choose to be with the same sex then his punishment is also by death.

As recently as the 1950's homosexuality was outlawed in many states in the U.S. at that time it would have been very difficult to find a homosexual that acted like a woman, outside of hollywood. Are there many men in Iran that act like women? I believe its a choice, of course homosexuals would have you believe otherwise.

one of my childhood friend (until now still friends with him) born with characteristics of a woman, yes he talk like a woman, sometimes walk like a woman, when many people call him ladyboy, I still be friends with him, and you know what? he like women than men which mean he is straight, how do I know that he is staright? he is my friends, it's himself that said to me that he like a girl in his class, one of my uncle was born with woman characteristic too, he is a fashion designer, he married with a woman, had two children
