Question: When we are in conjugate prayer, do we have to recite Surah Fatiha behind the Imam as well? Answer: It depends on your Fiqah. If you follows Fiqah-e-Hanafi then you do not recite Surah Fatiha behind Imam, You only have to recite Sana behind the Imam. However in some fiqahs you do have to recite Surah Fatiha behind the Imam, and if you ever prayed in their Mosque you will note that the Imam will be giving pauses after every verse of Surah Fatiha so that others can also recite. Ya Fiqah pe depend karta hai. Agar ap Hanafi ho to ap Imam k pechay Surah Fatiha nae parho gay, ap sirf Sana parho gay. Kuc fiqah me Imam k pechay Surah Fatiha parhi jati hai aur ap unkay pechay agar namaz parho ge to ap note karoge k wo Surah Fatiha ki har ayat baad thora time dainge takay pechay jamati parh lain.
