Salaam;
we find in some people's mobile phones having words of Allah (Qur'an verses) in audio, videos and pictures. Yet a person enters in some dirty places like toilet, bars..etc with that phone. (Sometimes a person sets his/her ringtone one of Qur'an verse, and suddenly a phone rings while he/she's in the toilet or bar)
Also some put nude pictures and videos in the same phone.

Walikum Assalam, According to my knowledge, Ringtones of verses of Qur'an are not permissible and your point is totally valid. I think there is a fatwa regarding storing verses of Holy Qur'an in the form of audio, video and photos in cell phones. However, I have not read that fatwa but you can search on internet. |
