I was wondering if it was written in the quran perhaps that the 7th jannah only was for prophets and no common muslims? Or will all good muslims come to jannah 7th? Also i wanna ask if somebody comes to jannah stage 3 for example.. will he stay there forever or will he have a chance to move higher up in stages to experience more joy :D |

there is no such as seven jannah, what people are confused about is when the seven heavens are mentioned in the Qur'an but also Allah mentions the seven earth at the same time therefore, the seven heavens are places where the Angels abide but not jannah where Allah Has created for His slaves they are two different creations that is why Allah have said comparing between the heavens and jannah in size, [Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty] [57 v21] Allah here say, [Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth] this means and proves jannah is not the heavens nor is it part of it, secondly there in no comparable between the two as Allah says just the width of jannah is the size of the seven heavens and earth, meaning it is bigger then both together. It has hundreds of thousands of levels the level of those who are martyrs are one hundred levels to themselves between each level the distance between the heavens and earth and all these levels are for one person only. What we also know is jannah has eight gates which the Muslims will enter trough for example there is a gate called [Ariyan] and it is the gate of those who fasted will enter and you also have the gate of [salah] and so forth so in total they are eight gates. To conclude jannah is not the seven heavens but it is different creation of Allah. |

As far as I know there are 2 types of Jannah. First is for regular people who followed prophets and no more. The other is for people who strives and tries to do more deeds. The second one is Illiyin (Firdaus). It is on top of the regular jannah. I recommend reading surah Al-Rohman. Very great explanation of that 2 jannahs. One has everything for you on trees, the other has anything you wish, one has huris eagerly in love with you, the other has huris waiting for you in the tent. One you can see a bird and it comes ready to eat, the other is birds fried for you. One has all prophets sitting in circle looking at each other. And Allah promises 2 jannahs if you win in the world. If you make dua ask for the firdau, not for jannah only. It is my humble opinion. May Allah guide us all. |

Assalamualaikum..we as Muslims should not be arrogant in terms of heaven or hell .. we are only human that is created by Him .. we do not know yet whether we will put to heaven or to hell .. we should strive to implement the command of Allah the Exalted and Glorious, to find the best place in His presence .. as has been explained by Muhammad SAW to us; Paradise is the best Muslim Abdullah, he said, replied the Prophet Muhammad SAW to us: Do not you happy that a quarter of the heaven that from you? Abdullah said we were promptly re-added. Then said he: did not you happy that a third of the heaven that from you? he said, we beg to be increased again. Finally, the Prophet said: 'I expect that half of the heaven from you. And find out! That the comparative amount of the Muslims, the infidels, like a piece of white fur on the body of a black bull or like a piece of black fur on the body of a white bull. Waalaahutaalaalam.. |

i think you are correct because i re-read the prophets journey to the heavens and he said in every heaven was a different prophet so if the best of people went to the highest place in jannah they must be the ones worthy to go to the highest level it must mean that they were in the heavens and not jannah but still no one knows how large it is as al ummat stated but you are right about the heavens being 7 layers and not jannah but still the same idea each level of jannah gets better too thats all the question was asking |

1- the seventh stage of Jannah is for anyone who can attain it and there is nothing that in the Quran or sunnah that contradicts it , i think you are asking about the stage of wich Muhammad was givin by Allah wich no other prophet attained. for both questions i will give this answere "Allah A'laam".
