1: Is the Bible only for the christians?

• Your question is wrong. Bible was for Israelites and the followers of Bible are called Christians. Here is a verse of Bible which proves this,

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. [Matthew 10:5-6]

Gentiles were Non-Israelite. And Jesus (PBUH) were instructing his followers to not to go with the message of Bible to Gentiles but instructing to go with the message to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So, if you do not belong to Children of Israel the bible is not sent for your guidance.

By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. [John 5:30]

Imagine a person who says himself that By myself I can do nothing, and you are telling me to accept it as a god. A god which can do nothing by himself then who can do? It shows he was not God or son of God by the Prophet of Allah. Jesus (PBUH) never claimed divinity.

4: If you have not accepted Jesus as God and God´s son, then why have you not read and understood the Quran properly?

• No-where in the Holy Qur’an it says that Jesus (PBUH) was son of God but the Son of Mary (PBUH). You haven’t read the Bible yourself and saying that we didn’t understand the Holy Qur’an. Show me any verse from Holy Qur’an which says Jesus (PBUH) was the son of God.

5: If the Quran/Islam is for all people and you have understood it properly, then why have you not understood Sura 2.136? Here it is- Say: We believe in Allah and (in) that which had been revealed to us, and (in) that which was revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and (in) that which was given to Musa and Isa, and (in) that which was given to the prophets from their Lord, we do not make any distinction between any of them, and to him do we submit.

We Muslims do believe that all mentioned above are Prophets of Allah (May Allah send his Peace and Blessings Upon Them All) and we also believe in what was revealed to them. We believe in the Revelation which was revealed to Jesus (PBUH) but not the present corrupted Bible, because people have edited the Bible with their own hands plus it is not in the form in which it was revealed.

5: If you have understood number 5, then you shall understand this one also Sura 10:94: And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers. And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then wert thou of the losers.

God teaches his Prophets and as a teacher in a class-room cautions his students that “Be not like bad people, Go near not bad people, Do not take my words lightly” in the same sense Allah (S.W.T) was addressing the Holy prophet (S.A.W) that be not like doubters, it doesn’t mean that Holy Prophet (S.A.W) was in any kind a doubt but these words were meant for those who expressed doubts about his Message. As regards the reference to the people of the Book, it is because they possessed the Knowledge of the Scriptures, whereas the common people of Arabia lacked this, and were, therefore, strangers to the voice of the Quran. It was also expected that their just and pious scholars would testify that its Message was the same as that of the Scriptures of the former Prophets. You can read the text of Bible and Holy Quran and you will find many similar names and to some extent the similarities between the stories of prophets and every Prophet of Allah (S.W.T) came with the same message that “God is One”.

7: If the Quran is for the muslims, then why have not the muslims understood this one Sura 17:38- And nothing has prevented Us from sending signs except that the former peoples denied them. And We gave Thamud the she-camel as a visible sign, but they wronged her. And We send not the signs except as a warning.

• Your have quoted the reference wrong the verse is 17:59 and not 17:38. First look at the context of the verse, when the idolaters of Arabia were repeatedly asking Holy Prophet (S.A.W) to show a miracle (sign) from God, so as to warn those people this verse was revealed; you can clearly see that Allah (S.W.T) has quoted the destruction of Thamud in the verse after that when Allah (S.W.T) showed them his sign (she-camel) they wronged her and killed her so as a result of their disobedience Thamud was destroyed. A visible sign from God came as a blessing for the believers and becomes destruction for the disbelievers. So when Allah says “And nothing has prevented Us from sending signs except that the former peoples denied them.”, means it is not difficult for Allah (S.W.T) to show his sign and nothing has prevented Allah (S.W.T) from sending signs except what a destruction came with a sign for the disbelievers and then Allah (S.W.T) recalled the destruction of Thamud. In short when you ask for sign from Allah (S.W.T) you ask for your destruction in case you didn’t accept. So, the above verse is to warn the disbelievers, as if to say, "It is the mercy of Allah that He is not showing such a Sign so that you might mend your ways but in your folly you presume that such a Sign cannot be presented. You should know that a Sign is not being sent because its denial inevitably brings chastisement and the community is annihilated. You can learn from the past History that those communities which disbelieved in the open Signs were utterly destroyed, such as the people of Thamud.

I have few questions to be answered from you as well, please provide me answers for the followings,

1. Bible says in Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses No. 3 and 5,…‘Light was created on the first day.’ Genesis, Ch., 1 Verses, 14 to 19… ‘The cause of light - stars and the sun, etc. was created on the fourth day’. How can the cause of light be created on the 4th day - later than the light which came into existence on the first day? - It is unscientific.

2. Further, the, Bible says Genesis, Ch. 1, Verses 9 to 13… ‘Earth was created on the 3rd day. How can you have a night and day without the earth ? The day depends upon the rotation of the Earth Without the earth created, how can you have a night and day?

3. Genesis, Ch. No. 1 Verses 9 to 13 says… ‘Earth was created on the third day.’ Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses 14 to 19 says…‘The Sun and the Moon were created on the fourth day.’ Today science tells us… ‘Earth is part of the parent body… the sun.’ It cannot come into existence before the sun – It is unscientific.

4. The Bible says in Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse No. 11 to 13…‘The vegetation, the herbs the shrubs, the trees - they were created on the 3rd day And the Sun, Genesis, Ch. No. 1, Verses. 14 to 19, was created on the 4th day. How can the vegetation come into existence without sunlight, and how can they survive without sunlight ?

5. Further, if we read, in Ezra Ch. No. 2, Verse No. 65, it says…There were 200 singing men and women - Nehemiah Ch. No. 7, Verse No. 67…‘There were 245 singing men and women.’ Were they 200 - or were they 245 singing men and women? Context is the same - A mathematical contradiction.

6. Further, it is mentioned in the 1st Kings, Ch. No 7, Verse No 26, that…‘In Solomon’s temple, in his molten sea, he had 2000 baths. In 2nd Chronicles, Ch. No 4, Verse No 5, he had 3000 baths. Did he have 2000 baths or did he have 3000 baths?. There is a clear-cut mathematical contradiction.

You say that Jesus says: "By myself I can do nothing." Can God do everything by himself? God must have a son to show the way, and some will chose to go against and others will follow. For who could do all things by himself? There are many humans that can do something by them self, but they need others to them for them don´t you think? So they do not do everything by them self, because then they would have done that. Because why would someone let others do the job, when they know others could screw up or do not so good. Why not do the whole job self?

• Lolz, Its really funny that you have given an example of we humans for God, that as we humans cannot do everything so God also needs others. I want to clarify one thing which you are mixing here, there is a clear difference between the statement of Jesus (PBUH) in the above verse and the Supreme Power of God. Jesus (PBUH) said it to prove it that he was not God and he never denied the Authority of God but said that he cannot do anything not that the Lord cannot do but Jesus (PBUH) cannot as he is a Prophet not God. Here is what Jesus (PBUH) said for the Lord. Following is a proof from Bible

• “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” [Luke 22:42]

• The above verse is the answer for you question regarding Trinity as well, that “If you can understand that God and his son are one, but to do something they need to work together” but the above verse from Bible clearly states that the will of Jesus (PBUH) has no part in the will of God and Jesus (PBUH) said himself yet not my will, but yours be done.” which proves that the will of God will be done and the will of Jesus (PBUH) doesn’t require for the God to do anything. Jesus (PBUH) in the above verse in front of his disciples prayed and said that he cannot do anything from his will but only the will of God will be done.

But opposite to that, Jesus (PBUH) said "By myself I can do nothing.", which means he cannot do anything from his own will whether he wanted or not which proves he is not God, and Jesus (PBUH) said “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Jesus (PBUH) said for himself,

• I do nothing on my own but say only what the Father taught me. [John 8:28]

• And the Holy Qur’an says for Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W),

• Nor does he (Muhammad S.A.W) speak of (his own) desire. It is not but a revelation revealed [Holy Qur’an 53:3-4]

• [John 8:28] and [Holy Qur’an 53:3-4] both shows the character of a Prophet and not God. Jesus (PBUH) and Muhammad (S.A.W) both spoke not from their desire but whatever the God desired.

• The above verse [Mark 10:17-18] is specially pointing towards the Oneness of God and Jesus (PBUH) said himself “No one is good—except God alone. in response to a man saying him (Jesus PBUH) to be good so Jesus (PBUH) asked “Why do you call me good?” and further said “No one is good—except God alone.”
