I am a Muslim and I believe that Allah is merciful and kind and he loves us 70 times more than our mothers.
2 days back, i read in newspaper that a saudi man raped, tortured and killed his 5 yr old daughter. She fought for her life for 6 months (ribs and skull were broken, nails removed) but died. 2-3 similar instances.
My question is, if allah loves us 70 times more than our mother then how can he let such things happen to infants/minor children. I am a sinner but he forgives me everytime so what wrong did these infants do to get this kind of punishment.
I know allah can never hurt an innocent person but what about the pain that little girl might have gone as she was living alone with her father with no one to help/rescue her.
How can allah let this happen to children who dont even know the meaning of sin?????I am very depressed after reading the incident..please answer my query....
I know i don't have any right to question allah's doings but i am reaaly confused...
May allah forgive all our sins and never ever let anything like this happen to any child of any religion....Ameen
Thank your for your question.
If you think that Allah will never allow an innocent person to be hurt, then this is not actually true. Have you thought:
Allah does not punish the innocent. But Allah may expose the innocent to pain, suffering, and difficulties. Why? Good question.
This question would need a long long answer. Ill just mention a few points:
ETC ETC ETC
Only Allah knows the complete wisdom why He allows such events as you and I mentioned to take place.
Thank you so much for answering my question and I am really relieved.
I knew that Allah knows the best and we cannot question him but after reading the incident I got disturbed and said things which i was not supposed to say ( please Allah forgive me for that).
What you said is true that this incident might make other people grateful. I am going through a very difficult phase in my life and thought that I am the most unhappy person with so many problems in my life but after this and one more similar incident, I am really thankful to Allah as my problems are nothing in front of what other people are facing (May Allah help all those who are in need).

(Oh Allah, You are our Lord. There is nothing worthy of worship except You. We place all of our trust and reliance in You and You are the Lord of the Noble Throne. We know that Allah is Powerful over all things and that Allah has knowledge of all things. Oh Allah, We seek refuge in You from the evil of our nafs (self) and from the evil of every crawling creature. You are master over them. Verily, You are Lord of the Straight Path.)
Beloved believers it has been reported that the Radul saws said, " The affairs of the believers is always good, if a blessing comes to him he says all praise be to Allah, and if misfortune befalls him he says all praise be to Allah, and then he patiently endrues." It is shirk to suggest that Allah is anything but Adl just. One cannot use his own qiyas opinions about matters that is outside of his scope. Prophet Musa AS found that out when he met al khidhr in sura al khaf. This questioning is nothing more than the waswas of the shaytan. Keep this in mind, it is reported in a hadith Qudsi that Allah said: when he created mercy he created it in to one hundred parts. One part He gave to the of creation the other 99 He kept for the believers. The mercy of this world is a fading thing, the mercy of the hereafter is forever. You insinuate that Allah is not merciful because someone whom you deem as innocent has returned to Allah as you shall, where they will not be wronged at all, where the mercy leads to paradise, and you think Allah is not just? I seek refuge in Allah from that. Make tauba. Salaam
@UmarAbdullah has provided an excellent answer which is to be commended, for it is a difficult question to address.
The suffering of the innocents IS always heartbreaking.
The anger and revolt towards the perpetrator IS always immense.
Now let me point out another important insight which we need to gain from tragic cases such as this one:
If the suffering of this innocent child is so horrific and so heartbreaking and deflating to the point where we must put our own thoughts in ‘check’ mode just to be able to mentally relieve ourselves of the overwhelming revolt felt towards the criminal and the extreme sadness felt for the helpless victim, then try to imagine:
This should make anyone who thinks of Hell indifferently give it a second thought for no one in their intelligent mind would want to be there.
It is overwhelmingly difficult to come to terms when hearing about such crimes but the evil in some people is there and Alaah SWT is aware of all that goes on. Salaam
If you think that Allah will never allow an innocent person to be hurt,
When you get hurt, Allah (SWT) takes a sin away from you. Remember, this whole life is a test before the afterlife where all of us will insh'Allah meet in Jannah with our beloved Prophet (SAW). Just pray to Allah (SWT) and be a good Muslim.
