Assalam a'likum. Can we close eyes while praying? I focuse on salat more while my ayes are closed. Jhazkum Allah khairan |

it is makrooh to do it with your eyes closed because it gives the impression that you are tired and not paying attention to salat however in the case that you are simply closing your eyes to pay attenton better than the sheikhs allow it but it is better to find a quiet area where you may focus without closing your eyes once i was very tired and i was closing my eyes while saying dua after my prayer but i kept my eyes open during prayer, in the middle of my dua i fell asleep sitting on the carpet i was there for about ten minutes untill one of my siblings woke me up, but as you can see it is very likley that if i was closing my eyes during prayer i would have fell asleep then that is the best example i can give to not close your eyes during prayer, you might fall asleep! |
