It's makrouh to fast fridays or saturdays indivdual out of Ramadan. Rasulallah said " anyone of you Don't fast on friday unless you fast before or after it". He also said " Don't fast on saturday unless it is a fard". But if some one fast on saturday or friday because of the day of 3rafa or qadaa then it's ok. Fasting on friday makrouh because it is eid for muslims. Fasting on saturdays is makrouh because jews were fasting saturdays only and we don't want to be like them. Wa Allah a'lam |
