Asalam Alaikum,

Here are some rules that need to be taken and applied on Islam.com by its members:

  1. Every answer must have a citation from ether the Quran or Hadith for the subject that the answer is being provided.
  2. Every citation (if possible) must have a link to an online source, for example if the citation is from the Quran than link to somewhere online you can read that Ayah.
  3. Have a researched question, meaning look for the answer to your question, dont just ask your question, an un-researched question is very obvious and easy to tell weather it has been deeply researched or not, because the question makes assumptions and all of that stuff.

there will be more Insha'Allah, but for now I would like to have these rules applied, Insha'Allah if these rules are applied than the site will get some sense of organization and will be Insha'Allah a reliable source for Islamic Information.

It would be very nice if the moderators can make an effort to apply the rules or help to apply the rules.
