Asalam Alaikum,

When making Salat, is it permissible to not recite anything?

Salam alaikun, it is compulsory to read suratul fathia in any salat, but in case of someone who just join islam somesay they can be sayin some tasbih. But if someone can read the quran it is compulsory to recite fathia in any salat. Allah knows best

Asalam Alaikum, if man is offering salat behind a immam its optional for him to recite or not to recite but individually its must that we recite Quran during salat.....
