Re Muslim women's allow to dance or do any sport? |

I'm answering this from a Christian point of view but I think it is likely sinful to dance in a sexual manner but there are different dances though. Ballet, for instance, isn't inappropriate as long as you wear modest clothing and there are east asian dances (korean fan dance) which do not require much movement of the body aside from spinning (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmSfhjCq74o). The Bible says to praise God with song and dance: Psalm 150 "Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord." |

It is allowed only if you're only with other women. |
