There have been numerous reports of visits by aliens from so many quarters. Are there verses in the Quran which have not been deciphered as yet to indicate the existence of these space beings? |

I thank you for your response. Yes, angels and jinns are mentioned on the Quran but these are invisible beings. My interest is in those visible beings(according to those who came into a contact and whose sheer number cannot be totally dismissed as hoax). Are there mentioned of a more technologically advance beings from other planets in this vast universe of ours? I suspect there are verses in the Quran which mention these but yet to be "disciphered" just as many of the scientific facts in the Holy Book only became known as we progress in science today (Allah Waalam). |

''The case of Ibn-e-Abbas is interesting.He was one of the Companions of the Prophet (pbuh).The Prophet (pbuh) had prayed to God specially to endow Ibn-e-Abbas(73) with knowledge of the Quran,and he became one of the great scholars of the Quran.Maulana Maududi writing in his Tafhim-ul-Quran,tells us that,"Ibn-e-Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)...believed with confidence that there are many more earth-like bodies in the heavens. ...He not only thought that such earths are inhabited by intelligent beings but also that their people are exactly like the inhabitants on the Earth.He even went so far as to say that they may have a Prophet like Muhammad (pbuh),and had a Adam,like our Adam,a Noah,like our Noah,an Ibrahim like our Ibrahim,and a Jesus like our Jesus (pbut)." (74) The knowledge of the existence of aliens and that they are mentioned in the Quran, has been present among Muslims from the earliest days of Islam!'' (71) He also writes,with reference to the Rasial Imam Ghazali,"According to Imam Muhammad Ghazali (11th Century),people in some of these planetary worlds have learnt to travel and communicate with each other." Just to note, there's no right or wrong answer to this. You can believe in Aliens or you can't, Islam doesn't necassarily have an official standing, since nothing in the Qur'an or hadith's contradict it. |

I thank you sincerely for your very detailed answer to my question which I can now extend to some Christian friends who have been curious on the question of aliens in the scriptures (in this case, the Quran). I hope there will be many brothers and sisters who will make similar efforts to "dig" up "hidden" answers like you did to the many forthcoming queries on the many aspects of Islam. I´m sure there is a reason why Subhana wa ta'ala has made such a big universe with so many stars and planets.. And I think the reason is so that we humans have plenty to discover.. I am pretty sure that there must be some kind of creatures in any of the planets in this huge universe.. Maybe very far far away.. But i do not believe in all those aliens stories and their look.. All those alien stories is just a fictional story, but im sure there is other kind of creatures, with maybe same technology as us or maybe 10x ahead? Only Allah knows, but thats why theres still a lot left for us to discover right :D |

Assalamualaikum,I believe that scientists consider jinns as aliens and jinns are obviously mentionned in the holy Quran. |
