My father has passed away recently and we've come to find out he had life insurance from his employer. Is this money haram? If so explain why. Currently I am a student living alone that can use this money for needs. If taking this money is haram then would it be ok to take some of it, and then later pay the same amount in charity? |

Salaam what is lawful for the inheritors is to take back what their deceased relative actually paid to the insurance company. and by the way its unlawful to inherit the money for personal use. |
