Please quote the verse in the Quran and giva an explanation about the Big bang which occured before the creation of this universe, i want to explain this to a man who does'nt beleive that there is a Creator for all this creation.
"He [Allah] is the originator of the heavens and the earth"....[noble qur'an 6:101]
"We will show them our signs in the universe, and in their own selves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the qur'an) is the truth. is not sufficient in regard to your Lord that he is a witness over all things"? [41:53]
in islam we believe that everything that comes in to existence is directly caused by the will and power of the creator Allah [swt].
"then turned he to the heaven when it was smoke, and said unto it and unto the earth: come both of you, willingly or loth. they said: we come, obedient." [noble qur'an 41:11]
the big bang theory is that all of the atoms in the universe were all joint together in one tiny mass, before a mass explosion caused everything to disperse. this is exactly what the qur'an had mentioned 1400 years before any scientist cam up with this idea in this verse, Allah [swt] says.
"Have not the unbelievers ever considered that skies and the earth were once one mass, then we split them asunder [noble qur'an 21:30]
it is possible that this big bang occurred by Allah's method of creation, which is "kun" [be] and it is.
"is not he who created the heavens and the earth able to create the likes of them? yes; and he is the knowing creator. his command is only when he intends a thing that he says to it, 'Be', and it is". [noble qur'an 36:81-82]
"and the heaven we created with might, and indeed we are (its) expander." [noble qur'an 51:47]
scientist says that universe is expanding, and when its becomes slow or stops expansion then there will be a big crunch. so tell to your man that we muslims believe that noble qur'an is from creator Allah [swt] and we didn't find any contradictions.
do they not then consider the qur'an carefully? had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions. [noble qur'an 4:82]
"say. tell me, if it (the qur'an) is from Allah, and you disbelieve in it, who is more astry than one who is in opposition far away (from Allah's right path and his obedience) [noble qur'an 41:52].
